They Call Me Quirky helps young readers see a situation from another’s point of view. In a humorous way, it helps build empathy, understanding, and acceptance of self and others.

It will help children navigate their relationships with siblings and on the playground as they learn that others may see or do things differently than they do.



Karen berglund

Karen lives in Saskatchewan, Canada, and is married to her husband Glenn. She also has three very quirky Pomeranians who make her laugh every single day. Karen taught elementary school for 32 years before retiring, though she still is a substitute teacher on a regular basis. She enjoys gardening, traveling, and visiting her three grown children.

Karen has a love for storytelling and sharing laughter with children.

She is looking forward to school author visits, and is already working on her next book.
